The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
DH and I braved the cold last night and it was very, very good. The little girl who played Lucy was the cutest thing ever. It reminded me of Harry Potter in some ways.

not at all- I had a BBC version of it. My DH used to watch a cartoon version of it in Israel- but I don't remember that.

I never saw the cartoon verison. Only the BBC one on PBS. I loved it. I'm glad it's on so my daughter can see it. Can't wait till it comes out on DVD.

I remember the cartoon version, mostly the part about the Turkish Delight and the scenes of the kids in the fur coats.

I watch the Disney Channel 24/7(Marissa) and the director said the little girl in the movie was blinded folded while taken to the places where her scenes would be. They removed the blindfold right before they filmed so her shocked looks inthe movies are real. When she gets scared is also real. She has no clue what the other actor will look like.

Sonia, I loved the PBS version as a kid too. I like it better than this new one.
