The circus is coming to town...

Unfortunately the circus will be coming to town soon. I just wanted to remind everyone how disgusting and inhumane they are to their animals. If you don't already know; please, please, please watch this quick video about what actually goes on behind the scenes of the circus. How anyone can go to the circus and support this is beyond me. These poor animals are intelligent, living beings, not possessions put here to be tortured for our enjoyment. are there other places that I can find information on this- (not Peta)?

I have always been torn on the circus, it breaks my heart to think that they would torture animals; but the businesswoman in me just finds it absolutely baffling that a well-known company wouldnt protect and hold its most important asset in the highest regard and protect them.

I have always been torn on the circus, it breaks my heart to think that they would torture animals; but the businesswoman in me just finds it absolutely baffling that a well-known company wouldnt protect and hold its most important asset in the highest regard and protect them.

There is plenty more out there, not just from peta. Believe me, I am huge animal advocate but not a fan of peta for many reasons. They just had the best video that wasn't crazy long. I know it's hard to imagine they would do things like this but you have to realize that nothing these animals do at the circus is natural to them, they torture them into submission. My husband has physically inspected these animals when they are on the road and he said the transport conditions are absolutely appauling and that is just during the transport. What actually goes into training these animals is 10 times worse. You wouldn't believe how easy it is for them to get new animals when the others die from neglect.

Here is the press release on the fines they recently faced from the USDA. And they will continue to receive these fines I'm sure b/c that money is a drop in the bucket for them.
