The BINKY is going to be the end of me!!!!
4 times I had to get up to give Gavin his bink, just so he would fall asleep......
This is going on week 2....
I know we discussed it last week, but can anyone say how long it lasts?

put more than one binkie in crib, that way dc can find it on there own, and you wont have to get up. It worked for my neice, my sister put a bunch in the crib.

The only problem with that is that Gavin is swaddled and if I unswaddle him there will be no sleeping at all!!!!!!

I'm sorry You have to do what works for you...but when my DD started doing that, we weaned her cold turkey of the binky. We were not keen on getting up 3-4 times a night to plug her back in. She only fussed for 2 nights and totally forgot about it.
ETA: We asked our PED how long that could last and he said weeks to months depending on the baby=they have to realize that they can help themselves and have to motor skills to find the binky and put it back in their mouth after cognitively realizing i need my binky! That was a milestone we weren't willing to wait for

DD did this her first two nights in the crib. We realized this was going to be nuts and stopped giving it to her at night. Now she sleeps straight through.

yeah that could make it difficult. my neice wasnt swaddled. Hope it all works out soon for ya.
