the BEST thing about a snowy dreary Friday IS....
for me
1) going home knowing I don't have to go back into the cold for 2 days unless by CHOICE
2) the perfect way to spend an evening like this...under the covers with dh, watching a movie
3) one of the last times we'll have hot chocolate
4) snuggling under the covers with dh 
5) one of the last times I'll crave a "stick to your ribs meal" (in April, I start the "get off of my azz" diet )
the weather really is crap, but I am looking at the positives...and it's really not looking so bad...
what will YOU do to make this night better?

Definitely relaxing tonight under the covers with DH ...I wish I could enjoy hot cocoa but Baby Trini doesn't like anything chocolate...but a nice hot tea will do it.

unfortunately I have to stay in Manhattan and go to a birthday dinner... then COME BACK to the city tomorrow night for another thing. Unfortunately when weather is bad-- some things just cannot be canceled.

I'm quoting myself because my plans just got shot - DH was supposed to fly out this afternoon, but his flight was cancelled and now he'll be home for the weekend.
I guess it's nice that we'll be able to spend a cozy night in tonight....

just made a huge batch of oatmeal raison cookies. I am not setting foot outside today! good thing I got all my errands done yesterday.
just waiting for DH to come home - I LOVE Friday nights and the start of the weekend
