That's what I get for cooking from scratch
Made homemade mac & cheese over the weekend. DD is a mac & cheese addict, loves it. She normally eats the boxed ones, Annie's or Simply Organic.
She's eaten the homemade one once or twice already since I made it. Send her to the babysitter's with it today.
Babysitter just called me: C doesn't want to eat the one I sent, she wants to eat the one babysitter's kids are eating now (box). I laugh. She puts C on the phone.
Me: Why don't you want the one I sent you? C: The one you made is yucky (mind you, she had no problem with it 2x already!)...I want the one J (friend's name) is eating. Me: Ok, you can have some of J's. Why don't you like the one I made? C: Um (long pause)....maybe later (which is not what I asked her, but you could tell she thought she'd hurt my feelings and was looking for something else to say).
Definitely got my office laughing at this conversation
Knowing my little mac & cheese addict, she'll try to make me feel better by requesting that mac & cheese for dinner...little does she know, she's not getting mac & cheese 2x/day.
Ah, that made my day

You can go all mean-mommy on her and tell her she has to have it for breakfast w/ milk!!!
Mac & Cheese soup - she'd prob love it though and then you'll never get her to eat anything else.
