mother of bride changing dress?
My bff's mom had one dress for the church and another for the reception- she's very religious and did not want to wear a sleeveless dress in church.
If its a matter of comfort, I don't see the big deal. Though, wouldn't it make more sense to just wear the comfy dress the whole time?

She should look for something comfortable for the entire time. Since her daughter is the one getting married, she should talk to her about it.

mother of bride changing dress?
Yes I think it's ok. My friends mom did it. She wore a more conservative gown and jacket to church and a much more flashy beaded gown for the reception. Only the people at the church then the reception would have known, and she didn't outshine the bride at all.
