Holter study - PACs (cardiac)
I have tons of arrythmia issues - one of them being PACs. I developed them as an adult so I'm not sure what it means in a child. my one suggestion would definitely to find the best pediatric cardiac electrophysiologist possible

thank you! she is being seen by the head Cardiologist at Winthrop ped but after their lack of follow-up, we may be looking for a new practice.

I'd be so annoyed at that. It takes me right back to when I had skin cancer and I only found out because I kept calling for my biopsy results. I loved that Dr. but refuse to go back to that practice. Years later I am still so upset for anyone who has this happen. I have a great adult electrophysiologist and maybe if you call they have a pediatric recommendation. If you want to try I can give you the name.

No experience with that but Harper has a PFO too. We saw a cardiologist affiliated with Good Sam so if you need their number let me know.

I recommend St Francis Hospital in Nassau County.. They are one of the BEST cardiac hospitals in the country...

Most of the time PAC mean nothing... They go away as the kid ages a little. It sounds like your kid has a little more going on... So the cardiologist would be the best person to answer the question. BTW 30% of adults have a PFO and most don't know about it. But... Closure isn't a scary procedure in those kids who need it.
If you are lookIng for another cardiac group, I would go to CHONY (Columbia). If your kid needs an intervention, that would be the place to do it.

funny thing is, the director of Ped Card at Winthrop is also from Columbia. I will call there though

It is technically a PITA to get to Columbia for appointments.
It may be that your MD is good, but his support staff (secretary who is supposed to communicate your concerns with him) is not sensitive. I'm having this issue with my pediatrician.
I do see that he did a fellowship at Columbia in peds cardiac... Really, maybe he's a good doctor. I just think that if your kid needs a procedure, may be good to have him at CHONY. Hoping he doesn't! You could always wait and see.
