Thank you ladies (an update on the daycare sitch)
so hannah has been miserable at daycare for the last few weeks. the owner keeps calling me and complaining like she used to do. it got to the point where my dh and i had a "sit down" with her.
i even observed her daycare for 2 hrs the other day and i don't know what is issue. hannah was okay. they think that when they do circle time she should be in the exersaucer. but now that she is practically walking she wants nothing to do with it. she wants to move and they dont want her to b/c "they have other kids to watch." so she cries when she is in the exersaucer and it bothers the workers there.
and oh, yeah, they tell hannah that she needs to "grow up!" SHE'S NOT EVEN ONE
SOOOOO...
dh and i looked at other daycares and really fell in love with one of the center based daycares. we feel she will be much better in a room with babies her own age.
so thank you all for your support! it means so much to us.

I'm so glad you found something better. i can't believe they told her to grow up?!?!? It sounds like Hannah is much better off out of there.

I'm sure you're relieved to have her out of there. Loving and warm caregivers are very important for our babies who spend so much time in daycare. We're very happy with our center & I hope the new place works out for your family.

Wow...so glad Hannah will be out of that environment...I bet she will grow in leaps and bounds now with the nurturing she will get at daycare

Wait a sec. They expect and infant to do circle That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of course she won't sit for circle shes a baby. Good for you for finding a new place Good Luck

You gotta be kidding me!! It sounds like they're the ones that need to grow up!
