Test to determine gender early
Does anyone know Of any tests that can be done to determine the sex of your baby at around 12 weeks? I know sometimes they will peek during your NT scan, but I know that many times their predictions are not accurate.
I may have to go for steroid treatment if pregnant with a girl so I would like to know sooner rather than later.

Maternti 21 can be done at 10 weeks, and results take about a week. It tests for presence of y chromosome.

I thought, could be wrong, that the only real reason the maternit21 blood test is administered is to test for trisomy. I had this test done a couple weeks ago after a scare from the NT scan, I actually forgot to ask about gender bc I was so relieved at getting results but I can't wait to find out at my next appt

MaterniT21 does but you are supposed to be in a high risk group to get the test done. Advanced age qualifies.
