Test results

I had some tests done re: my Endo last Thursday afternoon and was told by my doctor that she would call me either Friday or on Monday with the results. I still haven't heard from her. Should I go ahead and call and leave her a message or should I just be patient? Thanks!

I would definately call. Normally doctors call when there's a problem so the fact that they havent called is a good thing in my opinion.

I called the office, of course you can never talk to the doctor at first, they told me that they will pull my chart and give it the Triage nurse and she will call me within a couple of days. I said, no, I can't talk to the nurse about my results, they're not Lab results. I NEED/HAVE to talk to my actual doctor. She said, well it's up to the nurse if she gives your chart to your doctor or not. I can't believe that. I don't know why my doctor hasn't called me. I know she's probably just busy and might have forgotten, but I am not discussing my treatment plans with a nurse. Even though they know a lot, they don't know about this and I'm not discussing this with them. So if a nurse calls, I'll demand to speak with my Dr. So aggravating. I've already been waiting all week to get the results now I have to wait even longer. Hopefully someone calls me today so I know what's going on and start coming up with a plan of action.
