Termite/Insect Control Question w/Poll
Many homes, if not all, on Long Island will have or did have termite or some sort of insect control problem.
So, my question is this - how many of you have contracts with companies to inspect your property each year?

we've been in the house 6 years - this is the first year we had a contract (due to flying squirrels in our attic).

we had termite damage when buying the house it was treated as per agreement, we have to call up and do another treatment in a few months.

It's something I've heard from coworkers, family, home inspectors, etc. Long Island soil is sand based and termites thrive in that type of envirnoment (supposedly).

Our sellers paid for the first year of termite treatment, and we'll keep it up in following years. I've seen the damage those little suckers can do.
