Temping After BFP
For those who were charting/temping while TTC and got a BFP, did you continue to take your temp, and if so, for how long?
I'm still very early on (5w5d) so I've been wanting to make sure my temp stays up. In theory it would stay up for the rest of the pregnancy, right?

I did out of paranoia for like 2 weeks after my BFP.... Then I gave up because it was making me more nervous then anything. I found my temp varied dramatically after BFP and was not significant of anything good or bad. HTH!

no. i got the bfp and was done. within a week, the thermometer was in the bathroom..congrats adn good luck..

Please dont do it. It will totally stress you out. Once your pregnant your temp fluculates a lot..so it may dip but that doesnt signify anything.

This was me too and the fluctuations also made me nervous. Felt weird to stop but it is so much better.

I did for quite a while because I was paranoid. My temps prior to O were in the low 97 range and after O were in the low 98 range. It continued to stay in the low to mid 98 range, but may have dropped once or twice to around 97.8 or 97.9.
