Telling FIL DD's Name
FIL's 60th birthday is on January 5th. DH and I were thinking of telling him DD's name on his birthday. It's a particularly special name because we're naming her after DH's mom (she died a few years ago), and we've thrown him off for months with other names to distract him, haha. It's such a toss-up because I could go either way on this! What do you all think? Tell him on his birthday or wait the extra month and some days?

I would tell him on his birthday to make it special for HIM. If you tell him on her birthday, everyone will know at the same time.
Maybe you could tell him and ask him to keep it secret until she is born. He will feel special that way
