We have the microsoft optical wireless mouse and I love it. I don't find myself changing the batteries a lot and we use our computer a lot!

I have to agree. I had a Logitech and accidentally just bought the Microsoft one about a month and a half ago. I meant to get the Logitech and just didn't realize I bought the Microsoft. I am working 15 hour days right now Mon - Fri and working Sat & Sundays, too, (only like 7 - 8 hours on the weekends) and I haven't replaced the battery yet. With my old mouse I would have def. had to replace by now and it only takes 1 AA battery as opposed to 2

We have logitech...DH works with his much more (works from home), so he cahnges batteries a lot. I gave mine up, since our mice were constantly battling for airwaves (I sit across from him)

I have 2 Logitechs - one at work and one at home and love them both. I have had both of them since December and have only had to change the batteries in one of them once so far.

I have a Microsoft and I love it. I've had it since October and use it daily for a few hours and have not had to change the battery yet.

Re: Tell me about your wireless mouse

I have the Microsoft one and have it about 2 years. battery changing is not helping it. I have to click a lot to get it to work.

PC Richards has a logitech one on sale for $19.99...I may check it out.

I've had a Microsoft wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 4000. Love it. Uses 1 AA battery and last a long time (6+ months at least)...

I hate using my laptop's touch pad, I find the mouse a million times easier, so I always use this one. I am sure they have newer versions now, but you can still find it.

For a bigger mouse with my old desktop, I have used the Microsoft 5000:

The bottom of the mouse should have a Connect (or reset) button, as does the receiver you plug into your computer. Have you tried to reset it?

I had issues with my mouse once, and changed the battery and it still wasn't moving correctly. I pressed that connect button on both and it works wonderfully!

No buttons on either one. It's a MS optical mouse 2.0.
