tell me about your hardwood floor stain
we want a dark finish but im nervous on picking a color, i dont want to be safe and it come out lighter than i want or for it to look too black.
also what kind of finish did you get? satin, semi-gloss, gloss? i dont like it too shiny, and i dont like it too matte so im thinking i will like semi-gloss. does anyone have experience with that or a pic??

I just did Minwax Provence, but my floor guy mixed it so it was a touch lighter than the original stain color. We did the satin finish since it's a more organic/natural look...
Here are soem pics when they were just redone...

I can't remember the color but I can look it up if you like it. But although I love my color getting a darker stain shows all the scratches. I am going to try and post a cell phone pic. Hope it shows!

We did a satin finish b/c we aren't crazy about the high gloss look. Already FM'ed you the color.
