Tell me about this stroller- Joovy

Will I use this??

Its a double stroller, with a sit/stand.
Shes 3 now and I feel like, as much as she dosent want to be in a stroller, this part will be useful.

or just get a basic double stroller?

Re: Tell me about this stroller- Joovy

I met a mom in the park who had this stroller. She had a 3yo, a 2yo and a newborn. She said she loved it. Her son at 3 still sometimes gets tired and it was nice to have the option for him to sit and rest.

Deb, I don't know if you will really need something for G at the point where the boys are born.

Jack has been in the double stroller all of 5 times. If I go out, it's usually with either just the baby - or just with Jack. The few times we go out as a family and take the double stroller - Jack usually ends up walking with DH.

I never used my double stroller. I dont think you need one for Gianna. That stroller is big too.

I think this will be very useful for you. I know when my boys were three years old, they still needed to be contained from time to time. The Joovy Caboose was the perfect answer because they would've fought sitting in a stroller...standing seems more "grown up" to them.

Re: Tell me about this stroller- Joovy

I don't know... I'd probably get it. I already bought a double stroller but I'm not worried about use because I'm already using it now (the back seat comes off) so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth... and I bought it used.

I feel like I will need a sit and stand too, maybe because I'm crazy, but maybe also because I know DD gets tired of walking every now and then.

But I also live in an area where we walk a lot rather than getting in the car, so that's something for you to consider as well.

Re: Tell me about this stroller- Joovy

Like you I researched every triple stroller out there, b/c I felt Noah would still need one ( he was 26 months when the twins were born )

Well..a few things..

First.....I just went to the store for the first time with all 3 LAST WEEK....The twins are 7 months old! Not to scare you, but I'm a pretty active out there person and It was just simply impossible to go anywhere with all 3 that required a stroller in the first place. I remember saying I would go christmas shopping with all 3 Chat Icon Chat Icon , you will always have someone with you or just not be going with 3 for at least 5 months IMO.

Second- this stroller is HUGE. Its VERY heavy and it didnt fit in my mini van trunk ( yet I have the double snap and go..AND the double city moni in there together now)

Third..the stand piece is SOO small, and its ridiculous for them to call it a "sit" space, Noah couldnt fit on it and he was 21 lbs at the time!

They have these a LOT at Once upon a Child in Sayville if you wanna check it out ( though, I have never seen it for more then $40 off the brand new price) ....

I sound kinda negative about it, but I agree with Diana, you wont need a triple of any kind...everyoen told me that and I didnt believe it, but they were right.

Re: Tell me about this stroller- Joovy

I got one like that (but the brand baby trend) from craigslist. Its an ugly Navy blue one, but it was $30. I figure I wouldn't be using it much so I didn't want to spend hundreds... but I wanted one just incase.
