telephone interviews

anyone evr done one? just wondering what to expect...is it harden then a face to face or easiier?

i've never heard of one for a teaching position. . .

i have done several for positions in higher education. they did this to narrow down the pool before they start flying people out to campuses...

I definitely found the phone interviews harder because it's hard to sell yourself to a person you can't see... there is a lot that goes on in an interview like body language, the handshake, a laugh that you can't do over the phone.
