Teething symptoms (besides crankiness)
Besides him being cranky how else will I know he's teething? Will his gums look any different?

The gums will look a darker pink color because they are irritated. Also, your child will probably be drooling all over the place. You may even see a white spot where the tooth is pushing against the gums but that is later in the process.

Re: Teething symptoms (besides crankiness)
For DS, it was drooling, everything in his mouth, night waking, not wanting to eat as much (once he was on solids) and sometimes swollen gums. HTH!
