Teething Questions
DD is 4 months old next week and over the weekend MIL saw a flash of white when she was laughing. Lo and behold- TWO teeth cutting through. But they're on the sides on the top- like fangs. Everywhere I've read the front teeth are supposed to be the first to come in.
Did you LO's front teeth come in first?
Also, did LO have any problems nursing while teething? If she's really drowsy, like first thing in the morning, she latches on just as fine as normal. But at night trying to get her to sleep, she latches on okay for the first few minutes and then keeps pulling off and turning her head away, but then latching right back on and doing it again. It's hurting my nips and I worry that she's not getting enough milk. Though the last two nights she did vomit a decent amount of milk/spit right after nursing. She didn't seem upset and it wasn't projectile or anything- just a lot came out. And then she'd laugh and fall asleep. So then I thought maybe she's getting too MUCH and she's just trying to use my boobs as a pacifier? I don't know...
So far she hasn't seemed like she's in much pain, just uncomfortable, but then she's a very easygoing baby. She's constantly got her fingers, blanket, clothes, pacifier, my hand, toys, anything and everything in the sides of her mouth where the teeth are coming in. I also see her grinding her jaw sometimes and I'm unsure if I should give her orajel or anything. Right now I've just been freezing pacifiers for a little relief and it seems to help. But like I said, she's an easygoing baby, and never really gets upset so I don't want to leave her in pain just because she's not putting up a stink, ya know?
ETA: She's also constantly rubbing her cheeks and her ears. No fever, but by the end of the day her cheeks are rosy from rubbing them. I actually thought she got sunburned they were so red.

Re: Teething Questions
Teeth can c ome in any order. Typically the bottom middle come in first, then top middle. But that's not always the case.

I thought so, but everyone has been saying how weird it is that they're the first two in.
She's like a little vampire with her fangs and aversion to the sun.
