Teething and Balance?
Anyone else notice that when teething your child's balance is off? DD is 14 months and cutting 2 of her molars and lately she's been tripping a lot more when walking/running. Took her to the pediatrician and no ear infection. Not sure if its just a coincidence or not.
Also, her poop smells so much worse than usual. Sorry for the TMI but it's yellowish and smells acidic/sour. Anyone's child have this while teething?

I don't think so. Just got her measured a month ago and she went up half a size which they said should take her to end of summer/September.

Teething and Balance?
My dd never had this but when her shoes are getting too small she trips a lot- it cannot hurt to measure her feet- see Kai run has a great size chart you can print from their website-it uses a quarter as a scale to make sure it printed out correctly.

How is this brand in terms of width? DD wears wide in Stride Rite and I noticed See Kai Run doesn't offer that.

I agree about checking the shoes. When babies start to trip more, it's either an imbalance due to an ear infection (which you ruled out) or small shoes. And teething can cause ear infections, so I'd still watch for that.

Definitely weird smelling poop while teething. Never noticed tripping, but my dd didn't walk til she was almost 2 and had most of her teeth by then.

The width varies a little by the style- Dd cannot wear the sneaker style with the elastic laces and the Velcro because they are too wide but the maryjane style sneaker (Marie is the style name) fits her well- Nordstrom carries a limited selection of you want to check them out in person-
Zappos also carries them if you want to get free shipping.

When my son was teething, he had fluid in his ears and that can contribute to balance issues..
