Teething?

When did your DC begin teething? What were their signs?

Jiavana has been very cranky lately and is sticking everything in her mouth. She sucks on my shirt, her bib, her hand. And she is drooling everywhere. She is 12 weeks (3 mths on the 21st).

Or is this just really normal?

I think it's early, but Ryan is def teething and is the same age (12 weeks this past Tues). I run my finger across his bottom gums and you can feel a roughness where the tooth is about to pop through. Same symptoms, drool, hands in mouth, actually everything in mouth (bib, shirt, anything he can find). I can't believe he started so early!

have u done anything different for ryan? I have those cold teething ring things. should i start giving them to her to $uck on?

Thanks for reminding me to wash and put them in the freezer so poor lil guy has something to soothe him. I haven't done anything different since he hasn't been tooooooo cranky (hope I'm not jinxing myself)...although daycare said he was fussy ysterday. OH - also he was eating like 6-8 oz less per day the past week but I had attributed that to his cold/ear infection. But it could be the teething as well.

I'd give her the rings and see if it helps her. HOpe she feels better!
