Team Green/Level II question

So, DH and I are planning to stay Team this time around. We did find out 1st time around but would like to be surprised this time. I am going for my Level II next week and am just wondering how this will work. Will the tech just turn the screen around when she is scanning the area or tell me not to look ? Just curious.

They will tell you not to look. I have found places are very good about making sure you stay team green if thats what you want.

I get sonos weekly and the first question they ask when I go in the room is if I know the sex. They do not want to ruin it for anyone.

The do ask you usually at the start of the sono if you know the sex of the baby or want to know the sex. In my experience if you do not want to know the sex, they will just not spend too much time in that area.

I had a Level 2 at Winthrop Perinatal yesterday that took well over 2 hours...and in that two hours I didn't see either girl parts or boy parts!

If they don't ask at the start of the sono just tell them!

For DS - we were told not to look when they thought we might catch a glimpse (which happened a lot during the 90 minute scan).

For DC2 - they wouldn't let me watch at all while they did the scan - they just reviewed it with me afterwards. When she was showing me different parts of the body, she did tell me to look away at one point to make sure I didn't see anything.

For every sono I have had the tech asked me if we want to know the sex of the baby and I told them no, we are not finding out.
I watched the screen each time and never saw anything, so I am not sure if they just don't look down there or if I just did not know what I was looking at. But after countless sonos I am still

My sono tech had me close my eyes when she went near that area.
