Team green ladies
This is probably the stupidest question in history and I'm sorry in advance, but I'm curious. If you were team green during your pregnancy, how did you prepare for newborn pics? Specifically with buying cute things for them to wear during the session? If it's a girl of course I want the baby to wear all those girly bows and headbands or even those cute lace jumpers (really stuff you only find on etsy and then have to order). Since newborn pics happen so quickly after birth, How do you even plan for it or order in time, or did you just use what the photographer provided? I like having my own ideas and it seems impossible being team green. What did you do? Also I would like the my dd to wear a "big" sis t and the little one to wear "big bro/little sis", but it's impossible to plan for. Where you able to get things in time? Is there some kind of boutique I can go to, to get stuff quick? And that's similar to etsy?
Help!!

I was team green. We did not do our newborn pictures until my son was 7 weeks so that was not an issue but I started to get the things together that I wanted to use whether the baby was a boy or girl (for example Mets jersey, Eagles jersey, etc). If you have amazon prime you get two day shipping so you would get things in time. I would add things to your amazon cart and then change things up once you have the baby.

I was team green for both my kids. The photographer had all the accessories. A suitcase full of boy stud and a suitcase full of girl stuff. As far as big sis little bro etc shirts. You could always run to Carter's or I have seen lots in target As well.

I was team green with both girls. My photographer supplied the photo props (Honestly, if I wasn't team green I wouldn't have bought them anyway because what a waste for a few pictures. It's not like you put them in lace jumpers later on.) I had a big sister shirt for my dd and my mom picked up a onsie for my younger dd from baby gap, but it was a few weeks later. I didn't do newborn pics with it. I'm pretty sure baby gap has both little brother little sister options. You can order and return. That's what I did for their take home outfits.

I knew what I was having and the only reason I bought something is because I'm a dancer and wanted her to have a tutu pic. Other than that, I used Christine Melissa and she had more headbands and props than I could even dream of.

I had never even heard of newborn pictures until my fourth kid when a photographer came into my room and offered to do them. I figured why not. He wore his hospital cap and a onesie. She had blocks to spell his name. He still looked totally cute and it was nice to have pictures of him really little.

Re: Team green ladies
If you want something specific, I would buy it before baby is born. Whatever you don't use, keep for the next baby, sell or give away. Yes, you may eat the cost, but at least you have it for newborn photos.
If you have a photographer lined up or are looking into one, look at their selection of props. I didn't and everything the photographer had was not my style. I had ordered some stuff from Etsy after the baby was born but it didn't come in time for the photos. I was not happy. I did my own photos at home after my props came but my daughter was almost a month old. They turned out great, but I wish I had the first days squishy newborn photos the way I wanted them.
