Teachers.....Swine Flu related
If you were told that there is a case of swine flu in your school, but aren't told where and how long ago the kid found out and decided to stay home, what would you do? This is scary!

I would just be really viligilant about taking care of yourself - eat right, sleep right, etc. Wash your hands LIKE CRAZY. Watch what you touch and stay away from anyone who seems sick.
If this were May or June I would probably say call in sick for a few days but, now, Swine Flu is so pervasive that I don't think it would be reasonable for you to take off everytime someone has it. Additionally, it's not just isolated to the schools anymore - its everywhere so you could easily catch it somewhere else outside of school too.

i agree with the pp and be extra vigilant washing desks, lysol the room, this is what i have been doing,
also try not to let the kids touch you unneccessarily,

I agree...does the nurse know that you are pregnant? I think at the least, she should be able to tell you if you have contact with this child or any siblings (not their name). I would probably stay home for a day or two just to make sure that it doesn;t start spreading.
