Teachers I have a ?
I am going back in the classroom this week and am working on my lessons for the week. I am doing visualizing tomorrow. I have two lessons on the strategy- do you think I should do them back to back (Mon and Tues) or should I let a couple days go in between? I was a coach last year and even though I lived and breathed all this stuff last year it wasn't so hands-on. I feel a little confused (but happy to no longer be a coach!  )

It's for sixth grade- I am going to show them how to create images in their heads while they read (this is NYC micromanagement- I hope it helps them but I don't know). We'll do it as a group and then they will practice the strategy with their independent reading books.

I think doing it Mon. and Tues. is good, especially for 6th graders.
