Teacher's aide
I am currently taking a break from school but plan on getting my degree in education. How do I go about getting a job as a teacher's aide for the current time. I would be interested in Queens and Nassau locations. Thanks in advance.

check school websites for openings you will prob have to apply online. I suggest trying for TA in nassau im pretty sure they pay more (although every district is different) - but could be wrong.

i believe classroom aides go through the civil service system... check nassau's civil service webiste (not sure of address) if they have posted vacancies. i know that's how the aides in my Nassau district are initially screened.
