tarrytown
has anyone stayed at the castle in tarrytown or at the tarrytown house estate? Thinking of going for a 2 night getaway for our anniversary...but i'd like to bring DD, who is only 6 months. Is it baby friendly? She is a good baby if that means anything...

Re: tarrytown
I've never stayed though it is a beautiful place. My grandmother lives right across the road.
The main street area is nice, there is a theater that does have kids shows too like the Laurie Berkner Band (though 6 mths is probably too young for that).
Blue hill at stone barns is a nice place to spend an afternoon and have lunch.
I will try to think of what else there is.

Re: tarrytown
DH and i stayed at the tarrytown house estate last year for his bday. it's a very historic hotel, so the rooms haven't really been updated but they are clean. the pool is small but nice, and there are bball and bacchi courts, and a lot of grassy areas to play / picnic on.
