Target photo studio
Anyone have experience w the target photo studio? I bought a groupon and want to get my sons first birthday pics done there. Do they have any props? Like a giant number one?

I only used them for Xmas pics and they came out great. And they used props as well.

We used them for mu sons first bday pics. They have big blocks with a "1" and some other things. His pics came out really good. I actually just booked his 2nd bday pics today for February

AWFUL. Took our holiday pics there with a groupon. LITERALLY they snapped eight pictures. it was so embarrassing we threw the pictures out. Friends who did see them said we should try and get our money back.

I had a great experience with them, I went to the Levittown location. I did my DS' first birthday pictures there, they had a block with the number 1 that he leaned on and then I also did a cake smash there as well, the pictures came out great and saved me a ton of money. I now use them for holiday pictures as well, I haven't been disappointed yet.

I used a groupon at the Levittown location for my Christmas Pictures and they came out great. You usually only get to choose 1 background but they let us use 2 because my DD was very cooperative. The photographers were great.

I had a bad experience with them for Christmas pictures. Maybe it was because it was the end of November and they were very busy, but I felt like they really rushed us. They only gave us 10 minutes to take pictures and they acted annoyed that DS wouldn't cooperate (he was 3 months old!!). They should really schedule the session time based on the amount and age of the children. For a 4 year old and twin 3 month olds 10 minutes was NOT enough time. We got one picture that was okay, but I would have been really pissed if I hadn't used a Groupon for the session.

I've used them quite a few times for Christmas photos and have always had a positive experience. I really liked the photos and they had cute props. Last year, they took a few for my DD's 4th birthday too since she's in Feb and had number props. I usually go to the Setauket (E. Setauket?) location. It definitely gets busy around the holidays and there's a wait usually but the photographers have always been patient and the photos are very nice. :)

i use the Levittown one all the time. they always come out good. while I didn't use DC first bday picsmy friend did and they came out great. she even did a cake smash. I will have to say they schedule the appointments only 10 mins apart so they are always behind 10 mins is not enough time. they have never rushed me out but I really don't get why thye only do 10 minutes in between it just puts them behind. so I always to try to go first thing in the morning if I can so I know I wont be there forever.

We did a maternity/family shoot at the Bay Shore locationlast spring. They were fantastic! My boys were 4 and 2 at the time and they knew exactly how to handle them. We got tons of awesome shots. They had fun with our boys and it was a really positive experience. We will definitely use them again!

i took my boys for an xmas photo shoot at the bay shore location this past season & the pictures came out GREAT!!
HOWEVER their booking system is pretty crappy. i was told they book clients 15 minutes apart, which makes for a lot pushed back appointments. i went on 11/8 for our appointment and i waited AN HOUR before being seen
i would imagine its probably not that bad during regular times in the year, but after complaining about it on a facebook moms group, i was told that is typical for the photo studio. i was willing to overlook it bc the pictures did come out awesome!!!

I just bought the groupon too and am going this weekend. Does anyone know if they let you do more than one outfit? It's DD's birthday and I had 2 outfits I wanted to use.

We've had dds Christmas pictures taken there the past two years. I got a groupon deal both times and we were very happy with our pictures. They always take 20 shots, there is actually a little counter on the computer that is connected to the camera, that shows each picture as it's taken and lets them know how many more shots they can take. I've always brought dd in mid November on a week day before it got really crazy at Christmas time and I've had pleasant experiences. I can definitely see how it would be much more hectic and rushed as it gets closer to Christmas. I would think that now that the holidays have passed it should be fine.

Just wanted to say that I went today. I had to wait about ten minutes but the photographer was great and snapped some great pics of my son! I had to wait again to select the pics, but that was because some woman couldn't make up her mind for Shiite and spent $300 on pics lol.
