Target is a nightmare!!!

what an experience i had there today... What a mistake i did in registering there..it was a problem from the day we went to register...

I am just so tired i cant even get into it all...but target stinks

I went to the Target near me (before I was pregnant) and had questions about my SIL's registry. The chick behind the counter said real snotty 'Obviously you aren't a mother.' That was the exact time that I was going through a tough time with my infertility. I thought I could have strangled her.

I haven't had any problems but I ony went there to start up the registry & did everything else on-line. Maybe you can finish on-line.

The only reason I chose Target is that I wanted to give people the option of where to shop.

I'm so sorry. I knew they were a hassle from the start. I hope it worked out somewhat!

i started my registry in the store-with NO gun, so i had to write down all the sku#'s...that was problem #1...
i finished the registry online,which was fine..

But trying to return something there?? Or even buy something? I went the other night to get some things that i didn't get off the registry-some things i wanted from BRU but i had gift cards to target so i figured i'd get them there being it showed they had the items online...Went to the store-they had practically nothing. We bought things that we needed but not the big things i wanted to get. We spent $170.00.

I went yesterday to return something w/o a receipt. The girl took the item and said-we cant give you store credit, you'll have to buy something today. Now this was for about $50.00.. I walked around the store, could not find anything i wanted, went back to cust svc and luckiliy my mom was w/me so she asked for a manager. We waited for about a 1/2 hour for the manager, and when she finally came i explained that i was just there the night before, spent $170 and that i didn't need anything else from the store. She said-well if you print up your registry, that will be your receipt. So i printed it and had to give it to this other girl who didn't know *** she was doing...she had to call someone i guess from another office, and that was just this other whole ordeal.
So...i ended up getting a gift card for the amount of the purchase luckily...
but i do not recommend registering w/them

I love Target, but would NEVER register there. They have THE worst return policy, which just isn't acceptable for registering. Sorry you had so many problems.
