Is tap water ok to drink while pregnant- if not filtered?

I read that it is better to try and stay away from tap water and drink filtered. Brita's are not that expensive and plus they keep water cool in the fridge for you which is great on hot days

I never heard of that but I hate tap water and only drink bottled or I have a PUR water filter.

I personally drank brita or bottled water - to be safe - im not too crazy about the taste of "Whitestone" water - even though its suppose to be one of the safest waters to drink.

Me neither! I have always been a spoiled bottle water kid and now adult! I don't like the taste of tap water

well tap water has all these minerals in it that has been proven not to be good for us, plus they use chlorine to "clean" the water too. I read its not safe to drink pregnant or not.
