Taking the plunge...

and am about to by my first pair of maternity pants. I feel like a total slob walking around with my top button undone. I never thought that this early it would be necessary. I want to puke.

I saw a great pair of jeans that I love on the unbuttonedmaternity.com website. Paired with a maternity Ramones Tee shirt...I might feel okay. Wish me luck!Chat Icon

Good luck.

I waited as long as possible before jumping into maternity pants. But, when I did. Man oh man was I in heaven. So much more comfortable!

Good luck!

OMG- I just bought a pair of these this past weekend. Pre-pregnancy, I couldn't find a pair of jeans to fit me well to save my LIFE!! Who would have thought that 5 months pregnant, I'd find the most comfortable pants in the world? I'm telling you- these jeans feel like a pair of old sweatpants. No buttons- no zippers, just pull on and your set. I sound like a commercial, I know, but seriously, these jeans are the best fitting- EVER.

Re: Taking the plunge...

Good luck Jamie.

I started wearing maternity pants at about 9 or 10 weeks because regular pants were so uncomfortable. No one will be able to tell.

Secret Fit belly pants are amazing, but I didn't need them until about 6 or 7 months. Once I did though, I drove DH crazy driving all over the island so I could get two black pairs as well as dk brown and tan for work. It's the only pair of pants that baby likes. If I wear anything that cuts across the belly, baby lets me know he/she does not like it! Chat Icon

yeah, we all get a little shocked as we get bigger.... it's equally traumatic to those of us who are fluffy.... I'm worried 'what's really Crouton, and what's new fluff???!!!' Chat Icon

Re: Taking the plunge...

You are going to LOVE them. I bought a pair of jeans and the only thing that prevented me from buying them and then changing into them at the store was they were too long on me.

You will be so happy once you get into maternity pants. They are really so comfy.

Re: Taking the plunge...

I'm petite too but loved the comfort of the maternity clothes when I went into them. My clothes always fit me well and I didn't have anything in a size bigger. Well, I started with the maternity around 10-11 weeks some of the time. Once you get a good pair of pants that fit, you won't go back! I found the Gap ankle length to be the best for me!
