taking regular birth control pill while breast feeding
DB is 8 motnhs old, I ebf, and have been on the minipill. its been fine up until now, but for hte past 4-5 weeks, i've been on and off spotting/bleeding. contemplating going to regular pill, but i dont want ot kill my supply. anyone have any experience with this?

I am almost positive that once you go on the regular pill, your milk will pretty much stop.
My dr started me on it right before I was sure I was ready to wean.

ITA. Also, I don't think regular birth control is safe while nursing because the hormones come through the milk. My OB would only prescribe the mini-pill until I had weaned.
