we had dd in the pool at 5 months and no problems
we just rinsed her off immediately after bc of the chlorine

I took DD2 away at almost 3 months and my ped said not to take her in the pool that young. Guess every dr gives different advice!

Went to Virginia when DS just turned 3 months and two weeks later we went to Florida for a week. He was in the pool the entire time.

Thanks. I know we took DD1 away when she was a little over 5 months and the ped was ok with her going in then, but I think her general advice is 6 months.

I think in general they say 6 months but we will be away when dd is 4 1/2 months and I think we will take her in quickly.

I think most say 6 months because the sunscreen rec. is 6 months and older. Obviously if it's an indoor pool, sunscreen isn't an issue.
