Tag Reader...Yay or Nay
DS loves to play with DD's Leapster but I feel like he's too young for one of his own. He has no idea what's he doing. What about the tag reader for a 2 year old?

DS has the Tag Jr. and it has gotten mixed reviews on here but I have to say DS likes it. They have a much larger variety of books now than they did so you can pick out books they are interested in...like the Disney Cars book.
I would say go for it. They had it in BJ's last year as a bundle for a good price. check there of maybe Costco if you belong first.

Maybe I'll see if Costco carries it. I"ll put it as a maybe on my list. I wonder if it would be sufficient or if he's still going to fight with DD over the Leapster.

The Tag readers were huge busts here. No interest in them at all because of their other game systems (Wii, Leapster, DS, etc.)

Re: Tag Reader...Yay or Nay
My DD (she's 2) has it and she likes it, not loves it. I thought she would be more into it but honestly, she prefers to just choose real books from her bookshelves and sit and read those.

Re: Tag Reader...Yay or Nay
I got DS the regular Tag instead of Tag Jr last Christmas (he had just turned 2) and he didnt really get it. He's actually taken an interest to it now (just turned 3).

Re: Tag Reader...Yay or Nay
DS has Tag Jr and still loves it 1 year later. But I think its not a "replacement" for a "video game"
DS has the v-smile which is what he uses when his cousins are playing their DS or leapsters. I know vsmile is being discontinued but I am not sure what the equivalent 3 year+ game system would be now
