table/finger food ideas
DD2 is 7 1/2 months and I've been working on table and finger foods with her. I started with puffs and mum mums and she's done well. I'm having trouble thinking of what to give her. She doesn't usually eat with us because DH gets home late. I usually have both girls fed before he gets home. So far I've given her shredded apple, little bits of shredded cooked hash browns, pancake pieces, pasta from DD1s spaghettios, little bits of French fry, banana pieces cut small, deli cheese in small pieces. It's mostly what I have available at the moment. I'd love to do other stuff, but I remember from my older DD that if I made a roasted potato or something, she doesn't eat much and I have trouble keeping it in the fridge because it goes bad. Any other ideas for foods I can give her without a lot of waste? Any good way to keep them fresh while offering a good variety? She seems to really enjoy table foods and I don't want to hinder her excitement, lol.

We're a big dr praegers and garden bites family. They have kale and veggie burgers. Veggie muffins. All there stuff has hidden and some not so hidden veggies. Plum also came out with chicken and turkey meatballs that have veggies and quinoa in them.

Great ideas, thank you! I totally forgot about the Dr. Praegers stuff. I used to give DD1 those broccoli/sweet potato bites all the time. Good to know about the plum meatballs too. I will certainly give those a try.

Earth's best has meatballs too which my girls like.
For breakfast, scrambled eggs, toast, waffles, cheerios, kix, peaches, plums, blueberries. Lunch and dinner you can grilled cheese (sliced cheddar on a slice of bread in the toaster over), shredded cheese, crackers, fruit, steamed veggies, bits of cucumber, avocado, pasta, meatloaf, taco meat, fish sticks, really anything you would make for the family in small pieces. As for the quantity, maybe just keep a little side from dinner to give for lunch the next day.

Ours is 10 months, but doesn't take finger foods super well.
We've fed her: Watermelon Cantaloupe Puffs Bread Crackers Chicken breast (this makes her gag with consistency) Apple Banana Avocado Fish (snapper)

How about offering her the same thing u eat? With DS1 I only offered him veggies and fruits cut in sticks for like 2 months or so and then the same things I ate but with DS2, I tossed that out the window and offered him what I eat from pretty much the beginning and at that age they really don't eat much.
