Swollen Groin
A few weeks ago, I developed a swollen gland in my groin on my right side. It hurt like $%^#, and after a while, it subsided and went away. During this time, I developed "spider bites" (at least that's what the THIRD doctor told me) that went away with medicine. Now, two small bumps are back and my OTHER gland in my groin is swollen. What is going on? Has anyone else experienced a swollen gland in the groin area? I am going to the doctor on Monday, but in the meantime, I am worrying.

Re: Swollen Groin
On WEBMD I typed in: swollen/tender glands and groin area. Then, I put lump or bulge and something came up about a bug bite.
Then, it gave me a list of conditions (of course it could be any of these or none of them but this is what it said):
cat scratch disease inguinal hernia (female) abscess swollen glands syphilis (female) lyme disease lymphogranuloma venereum plague lymphoma
Hmm - check it out - you can go to WEBMD.com and put your symptoms in - if you put them in yourself you might get more specific results b/c I put them in just based on what you wrote in your post.
Good luck at the Doctor - I just hope whatever it is it isn't too serious and you'll be just fine - please update us!!!! GL!

Thanks for the info I appreciate your help. That's what I had found online too - Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
