Swollen feet...

Is there any remedy for this... besides staying off your feet and drinking water.

Thanks... any info is greatly appreciated.

Melissa, I'm not sure but I think with multiples it's often worse and worse earlier on but it could also just depend upon our bodies.

I was lax on my water intake on Thursday and when I took my socks off Thursday night... YOW-ZA!!! You could see a real thick indentation that showed how much my feet/legs swelledChat Icon Chat Icon

Friday, I upped my water intake.

Come tomorrow, I am no longer standing while teaching. They are high school kids and will have to deal. Also getting my feet up off the couch by 7 pm.

Not sure if there is anything else.

Re: Swollen feet...

I have tried a lot - eating this, not eating that, upping water intake, keeping my feet up, etc. The only thing that really works for me lately are the old lady diabetic socks or wearing my sneakers tied tight. Otherwise my feet swell up like crazy!

Re: Swollen feet...

Put your feet above your heart... and be prepared that it gets worse after delivery and then disappears within a few days .... you'll lose a ton of water weight. What a benefit!!Chat Icon

Re: Swollen feet...

I'm constantly swollen. I haven't been able to wear any shoe except for a flip flop since 36 weeks (my poor toes are chilly.) I keep my feet up under my desk at work and at home and they are still swollen. I guess its just what happens!!!
