swollen Feet

So I went back to work on Thursday. I teach in the city and do some walking to the subway and then to my school. By yersterday afternoon my feet hurt but I figured it was because I was wearing flipflops. Today I went to the beach and look down and both my feet are huge!!! I'm assuming it is because I walked a lot right? I am only 5 months. I thought swelling didn't start till later?

if you are dehydrated or if its hot your will swell. i haven't worn anything but flip flops for at least the last month.

i believe that swelling can start that early if the conditions are right (you're on your feet alot, or it's hot outside, etc). be sure to keep your feet elevated above the level of your heart when lying down, and the swelling should go down.

Yeah its probably from walking a lot, but make sure you watch your salt intake as well, that can make you swell up a lot too!
