Switching RE's
Has anyone had to swtich RE's? I am currently with RMA but want to switch to another place. How do I do that? Do I need to tell RMA that I'm switching and when do I switch?

Re: Switching RE's
I switched RE's. I used to go to RS of NY and called them up and told them I was switching. I had to fill out a form for them to release my records to my new doctor and they did this fairly quickly.

Re: Switching RE's
Why did you switch from rsny? I did a temporary switch for 1 month and ended up going back. I LOVE dr trivax there. When I switched for a month I wasn't happy. Just curious to your reasons!

Re: Switching RE's
I switched because I had a problem getting results for blood tests, and I found the nurses and staff impossible to deal with it. I was emotional enough, i couldn't take dealing with unprofessional, rude people. That was MY experience, many people are happy there. Of course if they would have gotten me pregnant i would have sang their praises either way I switched to Dr. B and am very happy. GL!

Re: Switching RE's
I also switched out of RS of NY and went to Dr. B. At RS of NY, my doctor was supposed to be Dr. Roman...but I only saw him once (initial consultation) and could never get an appt with him. Everytime I went, it was another doctor and felt like I was just another number. I go to Dr. B now and see him everytime I go. If I have any questions or concerns, I know that I can ask him and get answers quickly.
Good luck to you!!

i would call the RE you want to switch to and make an appt for CD2 or 3 of next cycle. i wouldn't want to switch mid-cycle
I also see Dr Trivax at RSofNY and he's fabulous. i've never had a problem with getting blood results, and everyone has always been super nice there. I know everyone has different experiences, but i've been going there for about 9 months now and they really are very good to me.
