Switching from RnP to crib
DD will be 4 months on Saturday and still sleeps in the RnP. She just seems so comfy/cozy in it. She STTN too and has been since about 7 weeks. She is starting to get too big for the RnP so we want to transition her to the crib. I'm so afraid of her not STTN anymore since she won't be so cozy. What can I do to make the transition easier?

Re: Switching from RnP to crib
We transitioned DD at 4 months - to keep her cozy we used a sleep sack (she refused to be swaddled from birth). Good luck!

Re: Switching from RnP to crib
DD is 4.5 months and we just transitioned her last night from RnP to crib and she sttn and actually seemed to sleep more soundly! She was getting too big for the RnP and just could not get comfy in it anymore. I did the same routine I always do (bath, book, bottle, rock her to mid sleep, bed). She slept from 7-6am. I'm hoping it wasnt a fluke lol.

Switching from RnP to crib
We swaddled, then after he started breaking out of the swaddle we moved to a sleep sack for a few weeks. Just try to keep a very consistent routine so she knows it's time for bed. Good luck!

Re: Switching from RnP to crib
DS was 4 months when we transitioned. He also STTN by 7 weeks and I was TERRIFIED!
We swaddled as well so we just moved him while swaddled. Im not going to sugar coat it, we didn't get much sleep that first night but by the second night, we were back to STTN. Good luck!

Re: Switching from RnP to crib
She doesn't stay swaddled, never did. She is like a ninja We have sleep sacks, so I will try that. Thanks for the advice!
