swings and bouncers
DH and I didn't register a swing nor a bouncer for DD. Now that she's home we are thinking about getting one for her.
If you have swing or bouncer for your LO, do you use it to put him/her to sleep or do you use it for entertaining your LO?

DD hasn't taken to the bouncer yet but she loves her swing. We started using the swing when she was 3 weeks...she will sleep in it but its not a good place to put her once fussy, she needs to be calm and drowsy.

DD loves the swing and hates the bouncer. She is 11 weeks and it's been this way since we got home. Right now, the bouncer is holding a pile of blankets.

I recommend a swing.. My DS is 3 months old and he falls asleep in it but also he's staring to be aware of his surroundings and it's also for entertaining purposes.. The same was for my DD.. she was in the swing until 8 months That's when she learned to climb out of it

I couldnt live without a swing!
or a bouncy seat!
You can probably snag a 2nd hand one off craigslist or on here, if you wanted to save a little $.

DS LOVED his swing and bouncer. WE got hte FP Rainforest one. DS always napped in either too. It was great and a lifesaver.

DD loves her swing and bouncer. I put her in both from day 1! She is now 13 weeks and still loves them.
For the first three weeks she would sleep in the bouncer seat inside of the bassinet.
