Swimming lessons in the Plainview area
Does anyone know where I can take DDs for swimming lessons in the Plainview/Syosset/Woodbury area?

I'm in Old Bethpage and we ended up going to East Meadow for Safety Swim. It was a twenty minute drive. There's also one is Westbury. Sorry, not sure of anything closer.

Jcc in plainview has swim lessons
Lifetime fitness in syosset also has them, the kids have to be a member . They have a great indoor pool

We belong to Lifetime so the kids go there. The Residence Inn in Plainview (on Gerhard) has a pool and a guy named Chris does lessons there. Call the hotel and they will give you his #.

His name is Chris I can fm you his number if you like and he has a team of instructors. It's held at the Marriott on Gerhart( behind the Hess) and,although I can't speak from personal experience yet, some other moms from dd's school like it a lot!

I have been going to Chris for 3 years for both my son, Jacob who is now 7 and Chloe who will be turning five. He is amazing!!!! If it were not for him Jacob wold have never liked the water. I can not even believe how beautiful he swims... Chloe just start really swimming. They both love it.
I will say it is very hard to get a lesson with Chris. he might have openings but at random times... He does have others who work with him who re great too..
I love it since you are the only ones in the pool.. None of the giyests ever are there. I change them in the bathroom where they have showers.. He is $35 a half an hour..
Fm for his number..
I am a member of lifetime and I still go to him... But my friends love the swim lessons there...
