No problem with huggies although I do see they will absorb some water/pee, but nothing like wearing a regular diaper. Got them for a really great price at bj's

Swim diapers aren't supposed to absorb the pee. It's thin and doesn't have that powder stuff in it to expand. If it did then your child will weigh a lot more when you take them out of the water. Just supposed to keep in the poop. I use the Huggies and they work fine.

They are only supposed to hold in poop - they aren't supposed to absorb liquid.
ETA - We learned the hard way.
