That's great that Mom can go with you since DH can't be there. My mom has gone to both of my appointments...and I swear she has been more excited that BOTH myself and the baby's father put together!!! She actually cried when the tech said it was a boy....(we have almost all girls in my entire family). I think it's a mix of the technological advances that has her shell-shocked and the fact that her only child is now going to be a Mom!!! Lots of  for Mommys!! They rock!
