Sweet 16 gift if you're not attending the party?
I know this topic has been done to death- sorry! How much would you give to an extended cousins sweet 16 if you're not planning to attend? I don't want to be cheap, I really don't know the "norm" for a sweet 16. Not that it matters, but its at a nice reception hall.

I don't know that I would send a gift. Maybe $50? I am not really sure.

I guess it would depend on who the person is to you.. like if it's a niece I'd give a lot more than I'd give a friend's daughter.

I'd get a gift card somewhere in the 25-50 dollar range depending on how close I was to them if i was not attending

when we had my daughters sweet 16 this is what a few relatives did.
