Swaddling a summer baby with Central A/C??
Do I swaddle or no? The A/c is usually at 77 or 78 at all times.

My ped. told me that summer babies should not be swaddled because they need to learn to regulate their temperature. Don't know if that's true or not, but Ava never was swaddled after we brought her home.

I would swaddle if the baby liked it. My DD was swaddled all winter with the heat up in the 70's in her room with winter pj's. Is that the same as having AC to the same temp with lighter pjs??? I don't know, sorry

we swaddled Ella last summer as a newborn- she slept better that way. If she wasn't swaddled she would wake herself up.

You can buy the jersey swaddle me instead of the fleece. We swaddled DD when it was warm with just a onesie. It was the only way she would sleep.
