sushi spinoff....where do you get your rolls?

We got sushi the other night at Homura, and it was a nice place, my DH loved his rolls, & said they were fresh, but they did not have a big selection of veggie rolls.
I got a little sad as I watched my DH eat his. Mine were just not cutting it!

Where do you go to get a variety or do you specify you cannot have any raw fish when you order?

I'm glad you liked Homura, but sad that you didn't think there was a big selection!

You can definitely ask them to make you some special rolls, just tell them you cannot have the fish, they must come across that all the time.

I always get the shrimp rolls, california, their avocado and asparagus rolls are good too.
The chicken tempura is awesome too!

great to know. I guess I was intimidated to offer anything but their veggie roll, because the menu did not list what the roll had in it. I know some places I've been do. Pre-preggo I never cared much and rarely found a roll I did not like. But now it's different.

Takara in Islandia has awesome cooked rolls. Cajun salmon and lobster tempura are some of my faves
