Supplements to help moodiness???
Does anyone take anything to help with their moodiness/feistiness?
After having my son almost 4 months ago, I am just so moody, and feisty. I feel like I let the littlest things irritate me, and I need to get control of it. (and being a mom of 4 boys, I really need to just not sweat the small stuff!)
Thanks!

Supplements to help moodiness???
hrmmm I took a Vitamin E once.. Honestly it was to counter act an antibiotic I was taking. I didn't take the vitamin because I didn't see the use. then the depression and moodiness settled in and scared me. So I called the doc and he said "thats what the vitamin E is for"
Let me see what i can find on it.
eta: looks like it was Vitamin B6 actually haha looks like both are good

Sounds like post partum hormonal changes and having a 4 month old. Talk to your doctor about it.

It was prescribed by a doctor and it was literally a decade ago! LOL I was given it as a supplemental after I had the tip of my cervix removed. (HPV) So it was considered an internal trama. My hormones went whacky and it was ... strange ... as I purged the dead tissue.
It was an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone but yes the vitamin helped pull me through. I was super moody and that night I crawled into a tight ball on my bed and cried helplessly. That was my wake up call .. some small voice in my head, some faint voice but still defiant said "this isn't you" and so I made a call.
I don't remember the amounts or frequency because I literally ran out to a drug store got a huge bottle and took it as often as I was told like a drug addict looking for here next fix. I never missed a 'dose'. Even after I healed up I used them until I finished the bottle. I was a poor undernurished young 22yr old and didn't buy it after then. But I'll always remember that it pulled me through.
I agree with PP, call your doc. Don't let it fester tho. Feelings are like weeds. They can fester and grow.

Re: Supplements to help moodiness???
Take a multivitamin. Should continue on this for a few months post partum.
Then, go see an internal medicine doctor. They will ask the questions you need about thyroid, possible depression, and would be good to have on hand for the future.
All supplements that work have side effects. Check with an MD if you decide to take one!
