Am I the only person who watches Supernatural? I watched last night and was thrown off by the ending. How sad for Sammy and Dean.

did you like it? i've watched it from the beginning and there is alot of mystery to this show. i hope the reveal some of the mysteries soon.

It was good. Did you record it? The ending was so sad since John made a pact with the devil in order to save Dean. It was a good episode and entrance to the new season.

i normally like these kind of shows but this one didn't really grab me. i'll probably watch it again because there's nothing i like on at 9pm and it's in HD lol. I'll watch anything in HD

I watched a few shows last season, but I cant remember what other show competed against it that I chose to watch.
Anyway, I'll be watching this season. Anyone want to catch me up on last season? I remember watching it up until they found the dad and that weird gun. Who's that bad guy that killed his mom and gf? Why is Sam so special?

Okay, the demon is the one that killed the mom and girlfriend. That's who they are trying to catch up to and destroy. Sammy is special because he has ESP or something like that about him. He dreams of things that will happen and he also has visions. Last John (the dad) and the demon made mention about the "children" and that Sammy is one of those special children. I guess we have to wait and see what is so much more special about him. Last season it was pretty much getting together again as a family and going after all these demons leading up to finding "THE" demon that killed Dean and Sammy's mother and Sammy's girlfriend. The season ending had the three of them in Dean's car and hit by a semi truck. Sammy and his Dad didn't get hurt so bad, but Dean was close to death. Apparently John made a deal with the devil to save Dean. He handed over the gun (which by the way has bullets that kill the demons) and I guess it was to take his soul, because at the end, Sammy finds John dead in the hospital.

OK, I guess I knew everything there was to know, but I wasnt sure if I missed an episode where they explained why Sam was special, and exactly what kind of demon killed their mom and GF (and why). My question is, John made a deal to trade his soul in for Deans life. Did he make a deal with the Demon that killed his wife, or with the devil himself (the guy with the yellow eyes) I take it that the demon was what was possessing John and the truck driver, no?

Yes, John made a deal with the demon not the devil. It is the same demon that killed his wife and Sam's gf. The demon is the guy with the yellow eyes, at least that's how I took it. But somehow I don't believe John's dead. He can't be......or at least I'm wishing he isn't.

Dont they burn his remains in the next eppy? I figured they'd do that to prevent his body being used by other demons. Hope they get that gun back.

John may or may not be dead (or stay dead for that matter)
It was said from early on that they wanted he to be a regular this season. I am not sure if that happened but I have read that he will be in many eppys this season. may be flash backs though.
