Pretty much! The houses are huge and are all alike. We call them "McMansions". Our house is 3200 sq feet.

I am continuously surprised when I see the prices of homes in LI. But location is everything right? I would love to be close to my family but the quality of life that we lead here is so different from what we could afford in NY. So we fly around a lot.

Pfffft. No one can clean to my satisfaction. I clean it myself. Once we are done remodeling, I think I am going to try to get a maid service for every once in a while. But for now, we have too many upgrades in process.
